According to the statement made by AYÜ, Rector Prof. Dr. Kurtuluş Karamustafa, who spoke at the panel held in the Tourism Faculty Conference Hall, said that the road has an important place in transportation.
Karamustafa, who stated that transportation is also of great importance in production, said, “Road is civilization. Transportation is an important complement to that civilization. Today, you can produce and transfer many products, but if you do not have a qualified transportation system, transportation and shipping, you cannot have competitive power in the international arena. Of course, logistics has many components. You, our valuable students, are receiving the best education of these.”
Heavy Transporters Association executives Filiz Bolat, Bülent Eker and Yasin Bayraktar also informed the participants about the importance of transportation in the panel.
